Above this carpet of purple are those houses seen below. Alongside proper drainage so they don't crumble and slide down the hill. Taken on south Reseda Blvd near the top.

This reminds me a lot of the lavendular fields in France. And the smell... Do those flowers smell as well?

Hey Nicola. Got you linked, thanks for coming by. About the smell... I'm sure on days the L.A. smog doesn't mask the floral scent, they smell quite good. :) I haven't been to France, so I can't really compare.
