There's this little park wedged between some houses and the 101 freeway next to Universal Studios. Little League baseball field, patchy grass, and trees obscuring the view of this sound wall, mere feet from speeding cars on their way to wherever.

The 3-way intersection at Lankershim, Vineland and Camarillo in North Hollywood. Not many of these around. Try not to tackle this one for the first time by yourself. Not rocket science, just confusing as hell.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church. A beautiful building that sits nonchalantly in a North Hollywood neighborhood on Tujunga Ave. Across the street is a park, library and community center. Other great stuff in North Hollywood (Noho for those trying to sound cool) soon to come.

Inside the blacksmith shop at Los Encinos State Park. Open the 3rd Sunday of the month. Come see the anvil, sharpening wheel, coal fire, and assorted goodies. This pic taken with both arms through the iron gate similar to the window in the center.

The lonely road. Somewhere between North Hollywood and Warner Center along the new dedicated busway called the Orange Line. Nice bike/walk path. Worthless mass transit system; and accident-prone to boot.
